A Lancashire man's died after falling two hundred feet in Cumbria.

It happened on Sunday afternoon near Blea Water.

Police were called out to reports that a man had falled from a ledge whilst out walking with a friend.

The local Mountain Rescue team, air ambulance and RAF Kinloss were sent out and found the man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are now working to formally identify him but it's believed he's from the Preston area.
